Adams Yearbook for Sale
Order your 2014-2015 Adams yearbook by September 15th and receive a 15% discount. Included in this year’s yearbook, published by Treering, are two pages that you can customize for your student. Pictures can easily be uploaded to the Treering website! Just go to www.treering.com/validate, enter the Adam's passcode 1014091903021123 and you are on your way. There are also many shared folders on the website that you can upload pictures to that will be used in the yearbook.

Tiger Party Page
The Tiger Party Page is designed to build community in our school. Party Page is a way to give back to our school while making new friends. It's FUN and your child reaps the benefits! Host a party or event yourself or team up with a teacher or other parents! Upcoming parties include a Movie Night with Mr. Ojeda, a CPK Pizza Making Party and a Christmas Ornament Making Party. Watch for sign-ups on Parent Square. Contact Kristina Holdren if you have any questions or want to host a party at degrandchampk@cox.net.

Breakfast with the Authors
The SBCEO is very excited about celebrating the 62nd Annual Breakfast with the Authors to be held at the County Education Office Auditorium on Saturday, October 4. The 14 guest authors/illustrators will speak briefly and be available to personally autograph books for sale by Chaucer¹s Book Store following the event. Registration is required. Tickets are $16 and include a delicious catered brunch. Students 12 and older are welcome to attend at a reduced ticket price of $10 each. Cox Internet for a Reduced Price!
Does your student need Internet for school? How do you help keep your child safe online? Do you need Internet or Wireless? Then, we need you to attend a very important meeting on October 1st from 5:30-6:30pm in our auditorium.

Cox Internet Agenda

  • 5:30 p.m. Internet Safety for Parents - Do you need to know how to keep your child safe online? Do you want your family to get the most out of your Internet access? Come to this session on keys to online safety.
  • 6:00 p.m. Getting Wireless in your Home - Do you need wireless? If you are on free or reduced lunch and have Internet, but need wireless, bring a copy of your Internet bill and apply for a wireless router. Must attend Internet Safety session.
  • 6:20pm Internet Sign-up Do you need Internet? Discounts are available to those on free lunch who have not had a previous Computers for Families discount. Come prepared to sign up. Bring your cell phone if you have one. Must attend first two sessions.

*FREE Pizza Provided and a Printer will be raffled off!


Beautification Day – THANK YOU!
Many thanks to the Adams Parents, volunteers from United Way and Rotary North who helped make our school shine last Saturday! Thank you to the following people for coordinating the day: Carole Mackenzie (TK teacher), Balta Esqueda (custodian), Sara and Steve Caputo and John Peltz. Their leadership was much appreciated by all!
